Pace requires members to keep conversations confidential and private. This allows us to build a sense of safety and trust with others.

Violation of this policy

Pace prohibits members from sharing anything said in session and in chat at any time. Members understand that everything said in session and/or in chat is confidential. By signing up for a Pace membership, members agree to keep secret anything shared by other members.

Members also understand that there’s an exception to this privacy and confidentiality that applies to facilitators. If a facilitator believes a member needs additional support, the facilitator has the obligation to share this information with the Care Safety Team to ensure everyone involved is safe.

Violations of this policy include, but are not limited to:

Non-violation of this policy

Members are allowed to share their own private information, including emails, social media handles, full name, age, and any identifiable media (e.g., tv show, movie, or interview a member was a part of), among others. Also, sharing with others outside of Pace about your experience and feelings at Pace is a non-violation of this policy and recommended. However, only share your own experiences and feelings.

Pace recommends keeping the conversation within the Pace app and not using other messenger services to communicate. This way, Pace is able to offer any necessary support in the event that this or other policies have been violated.
