We want our members to feel safe expressing their unique points of view. Our mission is to provide a space for everyone to connect, be fully themselves, and experience meaningful personal change. Different values and points of view are welcomed. But, when these turn into directed harassment and criticism, it impacts Pace’s special experience of unlocking emotional connection together.

What’s considered harassment & criticism

Some chat messages or in-session comments may be interpreted as abusive when isolated from the main conversation. As expected, these are extremely subjective and difficult for our Care Safety Team to clearly review. To ensure we’re taking the appropriate steps, our team may need to hear directly from the person being directly targeted, allowing us to gather information prior to making any decisions.

The Care Safety Team will review any situations or reports following this type of behavior. For situations in which members are engaging in targeted abusive conduct towards another member based on race, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religious affiliation, age, disability, or serious disease, please refer to our hateful conduct policy.

Violent threats

Members cannot state an intention to inflict violence or serious harm to a specific person or group of people. Intent can be defined to include phrases such as “I will,” “I’m going to,” and/or “I plan to.” This includes any statements shared via chat or during a group session alluding to the intent to inflict injuries that can result in lasting and serious harm.
